Would you like to see some of the antique accordions from years' past? Then you'll want to visit Petosa's museum, the only one of its size on the West Coast. There are over 140 accordions in the museum, with about 100 accordions on display. Some of these accordions date back prior to 1900.

We are especially proud of a piano accordion we have on display. This piano accordion, made by Paolo Soprani in 1907, is the first Soprani piano accordion made. According to Joe's research, this is the year that the piano keyboard was adopted, and prior to this date, Soprani only made button or chromatic accordions.

Also on display is a rare Uniform Keyboard accordion patented by John Reuther. Joe even has some of the early Guerrini accordions that his father made while working for the Guerrini company in San Francisco.

An assortment of very early Excelsior, Italo-American, and Dallape accordions are also part of the exhibit. And, of course, there are some beautiful Petosa accordions which were made in Seattle by PETOSA in 1922 and beyond.

When in the Seattle area, a visit to the Petosa Accordion Museum is a must!
